Week 11

11
This was a good week…..a very good week! I finally broke through my stall out with a good size lost that took me to over 25 lbs lost!!!!!!  I guess there is something to getting my tush on the treadmill every day.

I was a little worried about my knees, especially since I hurt on Sunday after our long walk.  But I got on the treadmill Monday evening and felt really good and it’s felt stronger every day.

We are heading into the final week of the first quarter challenge and I have victory pretty firmly in the bag. As Edward pointed out…..I have lost more myself than he and Susan have lost together. But I still want to finish strong, especially since I decided to pre-spend my anticipated winnings that I will win on Friday! Edward told me that they had Miraclesuits on Zulily and even an underwire one.
suit
Edward said that this is a family/Garner suit since it is a bit conservative. Not a suit for our beach days….he has a couple others in mind for those……lol.  But I need conservative ones too.

It is amazing to me just how much of a mind game the scale can play with you.  Last week I had a gain and honestly struggled all weekend.  I wanted to eat!  The only thing that saved me from the cake I really really wanted was that I figured out I wanted after the bakery at HEB was closed.

Edward had a gain this week and now he is struggling with wanting to eat.  But he is balancing that with his desire to push through his stall.  In fact he is so serious he is giving up his evening ice cream serving this week.
