What an awesome weekend we had at the beach! Saturday was our designated beach day and when we arrived it was spectacular! The waves were flat, the breeze was light…..and the water was crystal clear.

Edward did some surf fishing and we could see so much in the water. He caught a baby shark right away and a few sand trout after. He saw several Sheephead and we saw a turtle and even a small sting ray.

It was incredible!!! We had such fun and relaxing day. In fact it was so much fun that we decided to go back to the beach on Sunday before a family bbq.

Sunday was a very nice day too although not quite as spectacular as Saturday but still very lovely. We got several nice hours of chilling and Edward said if the weather cooperates he wants to camp at the beach for his birthday weekend. I happily agreed! So if next weekend is nice that is exactly where we will be!

After leaving the beach and showering we went up to his Dad’s house to spend a little time with Ryan….and Giuli and Lilly and David and Emily. Unfortunately it isn’t looking like we will get all 7 kids together this trip but Garner is just a couple of months away. Can’t wait!

Now it’s time to go to bed and get ready for a long week. Ugh……Edward get’s to spend today fishing with Derrick while I slave away. Hardly seems fair does it?

Have a good week!
