It is official….the house is decorated, the shopping is complete (with the exception of a gift for Edward) the guest room is clean…….we are ready for Rachel to arrive on Friday afternoon and get this Christmas party going!
Each year we add more things to our décor. This was a big year—new wreaths, a new nativity, new stockings for the cats and a Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the front yard . I know but Edward decided that Giulianna loves Minnie so much that we needed to have them.
A few gifts still need to be delivered but I am sure that they will make it in time. Now if Rudy would stop destroying the trees we would be in good shape. Clearly adopting a new kitten in December wasn’t one of our best ideas. 🙂
On Saturday we did take the time to go to Goliad Market Days to pick up a few things and then finished off the afternoon at Little Edward’s game. Emily was on a tear and loved playing with her Grandpa. Edward said that looking at her eyes was like looking at his own and I certainly agree. She has her grandpa’s eyes.
I was hoping to get the kids Christmas pictures done this weekend but with the baseball games and the wind on Sunday it didn’t happen. Looks like we will have to do it next Saturday or Sunday and it’s going to be a big group. Probably all 6 of them at one time. Yikes….
Ok let’s get this last full work week of the year over with! Have a great week!
