“August rushes by like desert rainfall,
A flood of frenzied upheaval,
But still catching me unprepared.
Like a matchflame
Bursting on the scene,
Heat and haze of crimson sunsets.
Like a dream
Of moon and dark barely recalled,
Shadows caught in a blink.
Like a quick kiss;
One wishes for more
But it suddenly turns to leave,
Dragging summer away.”
Elizabeth Maua Taylor
And to welcome in August and the accompanying full moon tonight is BEACH NIGHT!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 That is the best way I can think of to unwind from work and cool off from the unrelenting heat. I also learned this morning that this early full moon means we will get a blue moon later this month. .
Its going to be another scorcher today, up to around 100. I’m ready for some rain and cooler temperatures thats for sure!
That’s about it for this morning. Let’s get hump day over with!
