Now THIS Is What Spring Is Supposed To Be Like

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.  ~Virgil A. Kraft

At long last we finally……..finally……..finally got another one of those fantastic spring days.  The kind of days that just makes you smile.  The kind of day when it should be a crime to be inside a building.   It was perfect.   70 something, clear skies, light winds, no humidity.   Perfection!

It was such a lovely day that I  decided to forget the perfectly good lunch I brought from home and instead I went out to get a little sun and relax.  I hated to go back into the office.

Taking advantage of the beautiful day Edward drove down to the Valley to Bass Pro Shop and came home with our (or as I like to call it ‘my’) kayak!   It’s so pretty and shiny and new………..still has that new kayak smell.

The “Amy Sue’ was dechristened last weekend.  😦  But it was for a good cause!   The boats will now be christened the “Lillyanna” and the “Giulianna”.    I can’t wait until it warms up enough for us to put them in the water!!!!!!!!!  We are going to have so much fun this summer getting some exercise and doing a little fishin’.  Edward has made sure that we already have two of everything, including waterproof cameras so I can take lots of pictures.

Time to get Thursday going……..looks like it’s going to be another pretty morning out there.  I need to get out of work on time tonight because ‘the gang’ is meeting for dinner in Ingleside.  It’s always fun when that group gets together.   Have a great Thursday everyone!
