Well, it’s Monday already and time to get back to the regular routine. It is still very windy out and is supposed to stay that way for the next couple of days. Blah.
Friday evening we met Mark and Kristina at Executive Surf Club for a late dinner, some drinks and enjoyed the music on the outside patio. While the wind was still rough outside inside the walls the breeze felt great. I can’t tell you the name of the band but they played mostly cover tunes and we had a blast watching some of the people dance.
Saturday morning the wind was still gusty so after I dropped Edward off at work I stopped to get some pan dulce for Sunday morning and then went to the mall to find a new bra……..ARGH! Certainly not the highlight of my weekend but it was something that needed to be done and I’m thrilled that the girls are back in their appropriate place and looking good! 🙂 Then it was off to battle the crowd at the grocery store to get the stuff for Easter dinner.
I took a nap in the afternoon and then we met another couple at Executive Surf Club on Saturday night. We sat outside and chatted for several hours before it was time to go home and to bed.
Easter Sunday we slept in L A T E!!!!! The wind had kicked up so much dust and pollen that my allergies were awful so while Edward worked on putting together his new tool box I took another nap. After some drugs and that nap I felt much better. We had a shrimp & crableg boil for Easter dinner which while not traditional still tasted great!
And then the troops landed……….literally.
I think these pictures give a bit of a glimpse into the chaos at our house as everyone arrived to get their Easter baskets. We had a really nice time with them and everyone loved everything they got……the boys loved the grenades (Even with shrapnel injuries…..lol) and Lilly loved her new clothes and stickers!
Guilianna is smiling so much now and getting so big. When that girl is ready to eat you better have a bottle ready to go because she will not wait! This time I got to change a poopy diaper even.
And I scored hugs from little Edward and Emilio when they left. 🙂
I hope everyone had a nice Easter. We start the week rested for once and ready to take on the day. Enjoy Monday!
